Russell Boisvert, has the market cornered
when it comes to Hot Rod and Performance car parts in the area. "It's
just something that's in you,"
Boisvert said of customizing and creating Hot Rods. " I love the cars
and the people you meet".
Boisvert and his girlfriend, Marie
Apollonio, worked together to
open Outlaw Motorsports and Buds Auto Carpets at 134 Lancaster St. in
Leominster, Ma. The ribbon-cutting marked Boisvert's ultimate goal for
the 6 year old Outlaw Motorsports.
Outlaw Motorsports offers a variety of
high quality parts as well as chrome plating. Apollonio works on the
Bud's Auto Carpets part of the business, which supplies replacement auto
carpets from the 1930's an up, according to Apollonio. "I'm a detail
person, let the guy's figure out the engines and all that," Apollonio
said, laughing.
Friends and customers of Boisvert
displayed their Hot Rods in front of Outlaw Motorsports during the
ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the North Central Mass. Chamber of
Commerce. Approximately 50 visitors admired the Hot Rods and enjoyed 10
cent bottles of Coca-Cola from the store's antique soda machine.
